What the website collects

Nothing that identifies you, unless you agree to analytics. If you accept the cookie notice, Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the site or search that sent you, and the kind of device and browser you used. It also records some ordinary interactions: how far down a page you scrolled, and clicks on links that lead away from this site, such as the booking link or our Instagram. Your IP address is shortened by Google before it is stored.

If you decline, or ignore the notice, none of that happens. The analytics code is not loaded at all, so there is nothing to switch off afterwards.

• Cookies we set: one Google Analytics cookie, and only after you accept.
• Your choice is remembered in your own browser, not on our servers.
• No advertising. Google Signals, ad personalisation and remarketing are switched off in our analytics settings. We do not build audiences and we do not run ads from this data.
• We do not sell or share your personal information, in the sense those words carry under California law.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

California law asks websites to say plainly how they answer these signals, so:

• Global Privacy Control: we honour it. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, analytics stays off and you will not even see the cookie notice. You do not have to do anything.
• Do Not Track: browsers send this inconsistently and it has no agreed meaning, so we do not rely on it. It makes no difference here, because nothing loads until you accept.

Who else sees anything

• Google processes the analytics data, if you accepted it. Google explains what it collects and how it uses it on its partner sites page (opens in a new tab).
• Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server records so the site can be delivered and kept secure.
• OpenTable handles reservations. The booking panel only loads when you choose to open it, and once it does, OpenTable's own terms and privacy policy apply to what you enter there.
• Brenro built and maintains the site and can see the analytics reports on our behalf.

That is the whole list. There is no advertising pixel, no session recording, no chat widget and no social tracking on this site.

If you contact us

Phoning, emailing or booking a table are ordinary business conversations. We keep what you send so we can answer you and hold your reservation, and we do not add you to any marketing list without asking first.

Changing your mind

Your choice is stored in your browser, so clearing your site data for saffronps.com clears it and the notice will ask again on your next visit. You can also switch on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour everywhere without being asked.

If you would like us to delete anything you have sent us, write to us and we will.

Changes to this page

If what we collect changes, we will update this page and change the review date at the top before the change goes live. We do not make changes here quietly.
